Some digital audio installations require the toughness and durability that a standard optical fiber cable can not reasonably provide. For such installations we offer a series of heavy-duty cables. With dual-jacket construction, this series will withstand any conceivable kind of bending, pinching and abrasion to which digital audio equipment may be subjected. (Be aware that plastic optical fiber will never break like glass fiber can. If bent to extreme angles/shapes it can often be formed back into regular shape resulting in only a small permanent optical loss.) Our ability to offer this wide variety of lengths and styles is because we build these cables in the US and to order. We do not import any of these assemblies.
